The university is hiring new human resources specialists, and it’s looking to replace some of its current workforce.
The university has recently laid off several human resources employees.
The departmental website indicates that the job cuts will take place from March 1 to March 15.
Some of the jobs that will be eliminated are in the Human Resources Development, and Customer Service departments, and some are in other areas.
Emory University is the first university in the country to hire the number of new human resource professionals.
Emory has been expanding its human resources workforce over the past year.
In November 2016, the university added the following positions to its human resource workforce:Human Resources Specialist (HR) (3), Senior Accountant, (5), Senior Accounting Analyst, and (5) Administrative Assistant.
Emory also added the positions of a Senior Manager for Human Resources and a Senior Executive for Human Resource Development.
The university also announced last year that it had hired several people from outside the United States to help it manage the human resources staffing.
Last month, the Human Resource department posted a job posting on the job site Glassdoor.
“We are currently hiring for a Human Resources Specialist position in our Finance and Accounting department,” the posting read.
This comes after the university hired several other positions last year to help with its human staffing.
Emerson University in New Jersey hired its first human resources representative in March.
Earlier this month, Emerson hired its second human resources specialist.
According to the Human Research Council, about 1 in 10 employers are trying to hire new workers in the next two years.
That’s down from 1 in 8 in 2015.
