Starbucks has some serious news for you.
According to the company, it will be reducing the amount of time people spend on their devices during the holiday season.
“This holiday season, Starbucks will reduce the amount (of time) that people spend using their mobile devices and will work with partners across the world to provide more choice,” the company said in a statement.
“We will continue to work closely with partners to provide the best experience for customers on our platforms, but we will no longer allow people to spend more than 12 hours per day using their phones or tablets.
We have also decided to limit the number of hours people can spend on social media while they are away.”
The company said people will still be able to use social media during the holidays, and Starbucks will continue its commitment to its social responsibility initiative by working with its partners to help them make the most of this time.
“Our commitment is to make our businesses more accessible and more rewarding for customers.
We will continue our focus on creating more choices for customers to enjoy at Starbucks and other businesses around the world,” the statement reads.
