A man has been arrested in the alleged assault of a bronson employee at a Houston hotel.
The woman said she was grabbed by a man, identified as Bronson Human Resources Director Joe Rios, in the hotel’s parking lot late Thursday night.
The two have been in contact since the alleged attack.
A spokesman for Rios said he was not at the Houston Marriott when the incident occurred and that the suspect was identified as Rios’ roommate.
The victim and her fiancé were staying in the Hilton Garden Inn on East Houston Boulevard.
Rios is also known to be an attorney, according to the Houston Police Department.
The Houston Police Bureau said the victim told police that she was going to take a taxi home but was told that she would have to get a ride home herself.
Rias has been in jail since November and was charged with battery and unlawful restraint, police said.
RIA has a website, bronsonhumanresources.com, where it offers to pay the woman $100 for her medical bills and a $100,000 reward.
